In the 70s, a young teen named Carlotta Hartness was murdered. Now, her sister Sherrerd Hartness wants everyone to know what it means to live life as a co-victim of homicide. Together, we are writing her book that will explain what it’s like to be a co-victim of homicide, how the rest of us can help co-victims cope in a healthy way, and how we all can and must do better to end the cycle of violence so no one else has to live the life that Sherrerd has.
